In this episode of Be Right There, part of my Slow Girl Summer series, we’re slowing down to talk about movement—but not the kind that leaves you exhausted or overwhelmed. This conversation is all about gentle, life-giving movement for your body and your spirit.
As young moms, we often feel like we either need to do an intense workout or do nothing at all. But there’s a middle way. I’ll walk you through simple, realistic ways to move your body that fit naturally into mom life—like going for a short walk, playing with your kids, or doing a free YouTube workout (I share my favorite channel!). I’ll also tell a little story about how trying a Pilates class with a friend gave me more than just sore muscles—it gave me life.
Then we’ll shift gears and talk about spiritual movement—what it looks like to move toward others through serving. You don’t need a microphone or a ministry title to make an impact. Whether you’re opening your home for a small group, holding babies in the nursery, or showing up for the next generation in youth or college ministry (my personal favorite!), your yes matters deeply.
This episode is your permission slip to move slow, move simple, and move with purpose—body and soul.
